BTW, I found a document that gives the MIDI commands need to select a preset for VoiceLive 3 Extreme in an Onsong document. Looks like perhaps the same commands could be entered from Unrealbook if there is a way to issue the commands for each page.

So If you are looking at a song, and bring up "File MIDI". Does the midi command entered there apply only to that page?

Chris, it depends on your sequencer and what capabilities it has. Please contact the author of the sequencing software.

I agree with Niels. I would add the Midi string on those pages only where it makes sense. Usually on the first page but maybe I'd like to add a second different Midi string on the 3rd page.

I Think, Sending a Midi string command automatik pr. Page Can do the job for me. If I use more pages in the indexing, I only have to program the first page in the part I use. The other Will have Emty Midi styrings.

What if the MIDI string was per page? That would solve the indexing problems.

Both Niels and Wolfgang, please elaborate on how you want to use the MIDI functions. If you can explain clearly how you want to use it, there's a better chance of me implementing it correctly.

You cannot send a MIDI string per index automatically. Only per file. I suppose in the future it could be possible to put a transmogrify button on a page and have it sent out automatically.

It would still be per page instead of per file.

Anything you put in there will be sent when the PDF is loaded.

When I bought this app I thought, any underlying Midi command will be automatically executed when the new sheet is on the display. I wanted to remotely control my Midi patchbay. At the moment I have to press a button which is nearly the same as to use the remote controller of the patchbay. If this could be automated it would help to save time.

Is it in anyway, posible to do This, if I have my songs in a long pdf file, With the indexing princip. The indexing system is a Real strong part og the URB.

You can link a MIDI file to a song but it has to be a type 0 MIDI file. It must have the same name as the song (case sensitive) but with .mid as the extension.
