An error occurred while saving the comment The main use of MIDI is so that you can send MIDI strings to a keyboard to
change patches or do other things.
You would need a camera connection kit for USB and a MIDI interface that is
compatible with iPad.

An error occurred while saving the comment There are a couple of ways to do this now.
1: Email set list and all files to yourself. Unzip on the computer and upload the files to dropbox. Share the dropbox folder. After that, access the folder using remote files in unrealBook and then choose Get New.
2: Directly email the set list and all files to every member of the band. They can import and unzip and overwrite their files with the set list and new files. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Although unrealBook doesn't record to .mp3, it does record to .mp4. Now after you record, you can create a transmogrify play button to play the .mp4 from your chart.
An error occurred while saving the comment I don't think this is possible. It is possible to convert later to MP3. I will check on that.

Lets say you have a song called mysong.pdf on your iPad but it's a keyboard chart. Now your singer has mysong.pdf on her iPad and it has lyrics. When you pull up your chart and you are the master, your iPad says "dial up mysong.pdf". Now her iPad will go, OK got it and load the version of mysong.pdf with the lyrics on it.

An error occurred while saving the comment I had already thought of this a while ago and actually implemented some of it. Will work on it some more.

An error occurred while saving the comment I wanted to do this. Apparently all the good lyrics places either require fees to use them or even worse, they are in violation of copyright laws themselves.

An error occurred while saving the comment OK, lets say that it does keep track of the number of times a song is loaded. Where would this be displayed and how would it be used? This seems like an interesting idea.

An error occurred while saving the comment The problem is that iOS doesn't release the names of the connected iPads right away. Sometimes it thinks things are connected when they aren't. Very weird. There is a list of what iOS thinks is connected. In the Network Window, there's a ? mark. Press it to see all connected iPads.

An error occurred while saving the comment So for every set list, you should be able to assign a different color to the same song?
How would you remember what the colors meant? For example in the Finder - finder labels - that would be like the in every folder, the files could have a different label in every folder.
I'm interested in why this would be good?Wouldn't it be better if you marked a song as slow - let's say yellow - then every time you added to a set list, it would appear as yellow = slow?

An error occurred while saving the comment The next update will have a way to backup all important support files via email and to dropbox. These are the drawing, hot spots, transmogrify etc... files.
I tried to make the iPad do a zip file and upload to dropbox but that doesn't work. The iPad just cannot handle huge zip files. So this means I would have to upload one file at a time. Dropbox is not particularly fast at upload so a backup to dropbox would be very slow for all PDF files. I am working on it, but like I said, it will be slow.
Yes I fixed the first problem but not the second. You can go one level out and back in the meantime. Will check it out and fix it.
