I have a Yamaha cvp piano, and a Bluetooth MIDI interface to connect it to my IPADCan I turn pages using one of my piano pedals?
How?
I use those to turn pages successfully with Songbook, but I have not found a way to do that with UnrealBook.
Please help.

It does not receive page commands via wired MIDI. The only reason it
doesn't is I haven't figured out a good interface for dialing up songs yet.
It's trivial to make it accept controller or programs for page turns but I
would like it to also load files via bank select/program change.

Will unreal book accept midi page turn commands with a midi pedal and camera kit? If so, how do you do it and what are the midi cc comands for page turning? FYI, I have confirmed that my midi setup is communicating with my iPad. I verified my camera kit connection with midi monitor on the ipad.
Or does the page turn function only work via Bluetooth? Thanks.

How do i set up unrealbook so that it receives midi program changes. As far as i can see it only sends midi CC?

You can use any MIDI device, but it was designed for the iRig.

Is iRig Blueboard the only device to generate page turns via Midi or can I you use for example a Roland BT-1 or any key on my keyboard ?

I see what you are saying. Yes, both apps will receive the same program changes, but it will not do what you want because it wouldn't make any sense. Guess I need a switch to turn OFF listening to MIDI for this very reason.

The iRig is not designed to manipulate more than one app at a time AFAIK. In program change mode, you cannot change the preset program changes.

At this moment I use the iRig midi interface for sending programchanges to my keyboards. Is it possible to use the iRig midi interface and the blueboard for page turning at the same time?

Marc, unrealBook will work in both modes.
In program change mode - there will be 4 preset settings.
in CTRL mode, you will be able to program your buttons.
BTW: the Blueboard works great!

The iRig Blueboard is GREAT! I have a beta running with it right now. I need to make a front end for it. Right now:

pedal 1 = Find
pedal 2 = start/stop
pedal 3 = page back
pedal 4 = page forward

So far it is working perfectly. You do need to connect it every time you turn the pedal on though. You connect it with the BlueBoard app and then it will automatically work with unrealBook. It seems pretty well made. Will try and use it on a couple of gigs tomorrow.

Blueboard is in transit and on the way. We will see.

Been a long time unrealbook user and page turning via MIDI would be agreat feature. The new IK BlueBoard would be perfect for this. The fact that it is MIDI over bluetooth would negate the only having one connector problem.

I am still investigating this, although due to the iPad having only one connector, it is a painful process.
