Adding notes/settings to setlist view
I play keyboards in a band and for each song in our set, I use a different setting on my keyboard (e.g. Organ #6, Piano #2, Strings #4 etc). I want to know if there is a way to add the settings for each song into the setlist view so that I can see all the songs in a set list and which setting I need on my keyboard for each song. Then I would click into the individual song to see the lyrics and chords. Should I just name the PDF with the keyboard setting (e.g. Brown Eyed Girl - Piano #2). Can you easily change the name of a PDF in the app, or would I need to do this before I import in iTunes?
I currently use Iband Manager which allows me to add settings on the setlist page. It works perfectly but I am getting a new iPad and they no longer sell/support Iband manager.

How would you like to send a series of MIDI commands to change the patches on your keys when you pull up the song?

Sorry, would you mind giving me a step by step on how to do this with the magnifying glass? I'm trying but can't seem to work it out. Thanks.

You could do that. Simply rename the setlist and save. But there is also the magnifying glass in the set list editor which will allow you to add songs from already defined set lists.

Or I suppose I could copy/clone setlist and add/remove songs as required. My set lists are generally the same 40 songs with only about 10 being different depending on the venue. I assume there is a clone setlist tool?
Anyway, I just bought the app so I will dive in and play. Thanks.

No. But you can add songs from a set list to another . So if you add the songs from a master set list you don’t have to add the comments over and over.

Thanks. But is there a way to add and save a note to the actual song rather than the song in the setlist?
I don't want to have to add notes for every song every time I add a new setlist. I would like the note to save to the song so that when I create a new setlist and add a song, the note that I had entered previously comes along with it and is visible in the setlist. Otherwise I have to add all my keyboard settings over and over again for the same songs if I create different set lists for different gigs?

Swipe to to the left on a song title in the set list song pop up and you can enter text that will appear below the song title.
