In an effort to keep unrealBook updated, part of this is to use the latest Airturn Library for full support of their pedals. With version 3.x you need to enter a text field once and press the red power button briefly to bring up the keyboard. Once the keyboard is up, type in your text, then once you are done, do not use the keyboard hide button on the bottom right, just dismiss the keyboard by pressing out of it. Once you do that the keyboard should come up by itself without the red power button. But if it doesn't you will need to press the red power button again.
